Out-Fit Outdoor Functional Training Format

Currently in the fitness industry there is a move away from machine based exercise towards real-world functional movement exercises which more closely resemble
the demands placed on our bodies during activities of daily living or the requirements of our chosen sport.

Your Out-Fit workouts consist almost entirely of functional movement activities: running up and down real hills instead of fake hills on a treadmill programme, lifting and throwing activities which would be impossible indoors, lunging and squatting while moving and holding a weight such as a kettlebell, pushing and pulling activities involving the core muscles and often with an element of instability.

In contrast to this, exercise machines often force our bodies to move a weight in an unnatural way and can lead to unnecessary joint pain. At Out-Fit we train the body as a functional unit not as isolated muscle groups.

Out-Fit workouts by their very nature require a high energy output resulting in concurrent improvement in cardiovascular fitness, muscle size & strength and of course body fat loss.

For examples of functional training at it’s best see HERE.
